Tuck Everlasting: The Game!
Your assignment:
Instead of having a test to check your understanding of the novel, we are going to do a project. Hopefully you will think this is a fun way to demonstrate your knowledge.
You will create a board game based on Tuck Everlasting!
Requirements:
-Create a colorful game
-Include WRITTEN directions of how to play your game.
-Incorporate at least 10 events from the novel’s plot.
-Incorporate at least four main characters from the novel.
-Incorporate at least two settings from the novel.
-Provide game pieces for at least four players (you can make these yourself) and a Ziploc bag to keep your small items stored safely.
-Provide whatever materials are needed for the pieces to advance through the game (dice, cards, a spinner, etc.)
*I will supply construction paper once you show me a complete rough draft (so you know exactly what you will write on the board).
Helpful hints:
-The more you can incorporate the book into your game, the better your grade will be.
-Remember to spend time brainstorming and planning.
-Go back into the book and review the plot so you make sure you don’t make mistakes (this can help with spelling too!).
-Think about creative ways to show the themes and conflicts from the story.
-If you have bad handwriting, you are HIGHLY encouraged to type, print, cut, and paste onto the construction paper.
