“Who R U?”
The beginning of the year is a great opportunity to use language to get to know more about each other. One way you will share a little bit about yourself with your classmates and me, is an Alpha-biography. An Alpha-biography is a project where you create an entry about different parts of your life, based on topics that start with each letter of the alphabet.
You will create a book or packet that takes us through the ABCs of your life! Each entry should be long enough to explain the event or topic, why it is significant in your life, and any life lessons associated with the topic.
You will create a book or packet that takes us through the ABCs of your life! Each entry should be long enough to explain the event or topic, why it is significant in your life, and any life lessons associated with the topic.
- Your Alpha-biography will go in alphabetical order rather than the order of events in your life, so you can write about anything you want, at any point in your project, as long as you are telling us about YOU!
- You can include several entries on each page, as long as you have given us enough information about each topic to teach us something about you or your life.
- Your entries should be typed, and your book or packet should look nice, use color, have pictures, and have a cover page.
Before you begin, it is important to organize your ideas. We will brainstorm a little bit in class and you may have multiple options for some letters. Write down everything you can think of in the organizer below, and then choose your best options.
