- Rebecca Caudill Assignment: Students must read a minimum of three novels from the 2013-2014 Rebecca Caudill List (books read in the last year count, but I encourage students to read as many books from the list as they can so they know they're voting for their real favorite).
- Monthly Reading Logs: Students in Core LA must read 600 pages/minutes (student's choice, and mix-and-matching is perfectly fine) and students in Quest LA must read 1200 pages/minutes a month. Reading logs may include class novels, and the rest of the reading should come from student-choice novels.
